ΣΕΝΑΡΙΟ - DISCOVERING VINCENT

Το σενάριο Discovering Vincent αφορά στο μάθημα της Αγγλικής Γλώσσας, απευθύνεται σε μαθητές Α΄Λυκείου με επίπεδο γλωσσομάθειας Β2+/Γ1 και αποσκοπεί στο να ενισχύσει τις δραστηριότητες της 4ης ενότητας του σχολικού βιβλίου (ΑΓΓΛΙΚΑ 1 ΓΕΝΙΚΟΥ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ) και να βελτιώσει τις γλωσσικές και επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες των μαθητών μέσα από την παρατήρηση και ανάλυση έργων τέχνης, αλλά και την κατανόηση γραπτού και προφορικού λόγου. 

Το σενάριο αναπτύσσεται σε τρεις φάσεις, η Α΄και η Γ' φάση ασύγχρονα και η Β΄ φάση σύγχρονα.

In this lesson you will become acquainted with the work and life of the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh and you will observe and analyse works of art.  

Phase 1

Activity 1

Can you name some famous painters and their works? Where are they from? Browse through the internet or look at the following wordcloud to find out more. Use the wall (Τοίχος) to post your own wordcloud and/or pictures of your favourite paintings.  You can comment on each other's posts and post questions.

Watch the following interactive video about Vincent Van Gogh and answer the questions.

Read Vincent Van Gogh's biography on the school textbook (4 Vincent Van Gogh, pages 41-42) and then answer the questions. You have 30 minutes to submit your answers.

Phase 3, step 1

After working together in groups and researching your project, each team will post their dialogues between Vincent Van Gogh and Dr Gachet, or his brother Theo or the curator of the Orsay Museum and the letter between him and his friend, the painter Paul Gauguin on the following wiki. You can add photos, video or other sources.

Phase 3, step 2

Browse through the pages of these two sites to choose and research your favourite Van Gogh work and then post your findings, together with your personal thoughts and impressions, on the Padlet I have created for this purpose.
