In this lesson we are going to look into the topic " superstitions". Superstitions are part of the tradition and culture of a country.
THE AIMS OF THIS LESSON
1. You will get to know a part of the culture of other countries through their superstitions.
2. You are asked to search for the related vocabulary and to be able to use it in certain activities, including a discussion and presentation. ( Speaking practice)
3. You are going to practise on watching and listening to a video and understand its content by doing a post watching/listening activity. ( Comprehension practice)
| POST WATCHING ACTIVITY After watching the video , do the following activity. |

| ASSIGNMENT - READING COMPREHENSION- "SUPERSTITIONS AROUND THE WORLD" WORKBOOK - A ADVANCED 1. Open your workbook on page 67. Read the text and do exercises 2 and 3 on page 68. 2. Use the glossary for any unknown words. 3. Now, cooperate with a classmate of yours through "Discussions" and decide on a country you would like to visit. Search on the Internet the superstitions of this country. Collect this information and make a presentation of it ( power point) .Get ready to present it during our next Webex meeting. Decide on which one will make this presentation. You will use the function SHARE SCREEN and become the host of the meeting to present the ppt which you and your classmate made. 4. After the presentation of the ppt during our Webex meeting, you are asked to use the tool Wiki to write the superstition of the country of your choice that surprised you the most.
